Chicken Chaat Salad

Chicken Chaat Salad

This juicy sweet-sour fruity harmony is an Indian inspired and absolutely delicious composed salad. Indian flavours make this chickpea and chicken salad, called chicken chaat salad, perfect.

In Croatia we say when you cook in bigger amounts food always taste better. So, to make sure it tastes so good – we always prepare amount for family of 6 and eat it for next 3 days. Because it is so perfectly healthy you can eat it as light meal or as a side dish.

It’s simply a salad that includes fresh produce and ingredients that have been ‘chopped’ (or just cut up to fairly equal size), then the salad is typically tossed together. Flavors can be adjusted and dressing may be used.

Did you actually know, chickpeas are an integral part of Indian, West Indian, and Mediterranean cuisines. They are very nutritious and high in fiber, protein, and iron.

Our proposal for this chicken chaat salad, together with yummy warm homemade naan bread.
