All you need is oven and food processor. So quick and easy to prepare and actually quite amazing to see how nuts transforming into buttery mass just in few minutes without adding anything. The basic recipe really only consists of nuts and a little bit of salt. Nothing else, no sugar, no extra fat and no flavors. Additives, such as those found in purchased nut creams, are automatically avoided.

It’s amazing that one of the most “addictive” foods is so simple and easy to make – in principle, it takes about the same amount of time to go shopping for peanut butter as you do yourself.

Homemade creamy fresh nut butter

Peanut Butter

  • 250 g Peanuts
  • Pinch of Sea Salt

Almond Butter

  • 300 g Almonds blanched
  • Pinch of Sea Salt

Cashew Butter

  • 250 g Cashews
  • Pinch of Sea Salt


Peanut Butter

  • Place the peanuts and salt into a food processor (preferably a stronger one)
  • Blend for 8-10 minutes
  • Cool down the peanut butter before spoon into the jar. You can store it in the fridge for up to a month.

Almond and Cashew Butter

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C, on fan setting
  • Spread the almonds on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes until golden (or less, my first try I overbaked them.) It depends how strong is your oven 
  • Once done, leave it to cool to room temperature
  • Place them in a food processor and blend for 10-15 minutes until a smooth mixture forms, adding in the salt at the end
  • Once prepared, leave it cool before storing in the fridge 
  • Enjoy your BeastFeast!
