Simple Strawberry Cake

Simple Strawberry Cake

This is a Simple Strawberry Cake of my childhood – pimped with cream cheese frosting It reminds me on first fresh strawberries from my grandmas garden that we would pick and she would made this cake – her version of biscuit was full of butter, sugar and eggs. This was the real taste of childhood. Of course, nowadays we eat more consciously so even the simple biscuit is not the same. But still yummy!

Simple Strawberry Cake -The perfect summer cake

I love this cake because it is done quickly, and it is a perfect dessert solution for sunny weekends when you don’t want to spend a lot of time in your kitchen.

Only MUST for this recipe is that you need to make it with real strawberries – not those artificial ones. You need sweet and juicy ones!
