Our favourite bowl edition. Sticky Beef with Rice Noodles. This is not only a beautiful bowl, it is super yummy and most important, quick and easy to make. So you can’t find any excuse why not to make it.

What I love about this recipe is how you can transform beef chucks into yummy soft sticky bites in just few minutes, using sauces we all have in our kitchen cabinets. If you do not have them, this is your opportunity to get them, because you can replace the beef with chicken, shrimps or any veggie and you will get the same result! I guarantee you!

Sticky Beef Rice Noodle Bowl
Ingredients
- 500 g Tenderloin or Flank Steak cut into smaller cubes
- 2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Fish Sauce
- 3 pcs Garlic Cloves minced or grated
- Black Pepper
- Red Pepper crushed
- Sesame Oil
- Rice Noodles cooked according to instructions
- 4 pcs Carrots shredded or sliced into ribbons
- 1 pcs Cucumber sliced
- 1 pcs Lime cut into wedges
- Handful Fresh Coriander or Mint
- Sesame Seeds to sprinkle
Instructions
- Place the beef into a bowl and season all over with pepper
- In another bowl, mix together the oyster sauce, honey, soy sauce, fish sauce, garlic, and a pinch of crushed red pepper. Add the beef into the bowl and mix all together to coat. Set aside for one hour
- Place a large pan over high heat and heat up the oil, take the beef out of the sauce, leaving any sauce left in the bowl, and cook undisturbed for 2-3 minutes than stir well and and cook for another 2-3 minutes
- Pour the leftover sauce, 3 tablespoons water, and bring to a boil, reduce the heat to medium and cook until the sauce thickens and begins to coat the steak, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from the heat
- In the meantime prepare rice noodles as per packaging instructions
- In 2-4 bigger bowls spread rice noodles, add beef with the sauce and fresh crispy veggies. Squeeze with lime. Top with fresh herbs and sprinkle over sesame
